lesson learned

past three nights ago, i was reading one of the Chronicles of Narnia - Prince Caspian. at one part where i was reading. something just struck me.

there was one part where the had to cross something like a river but with 2 pathway and Peter, Susan, Edmund and a dwarf was deciding which way to go, up or down. Lucy saw Aslan at the top of the bank. He was asking her to follow Him up. when she told the rest of them, they did not believed her as they did not saw Him and decided to go down.
that when there is a shorter route, and if we continue to keep our eyes on Him we would go a shorter way but if we lose sight of Him we have to take the longer and tougher route. this was what happened to them when they did not listen and believed in Lucy.

there was another part where they were resting after their journey through the river paths and Lucy could not sleep. so she went walking around. among the trees, she saw Aslan. this time she went to Him and He asked her to wake the rest up and follow him. at first she did not want to do it as they did not believed her the other time and they may be very angry at her as they were very tired. but she did it anyway. when she started waking one by one the were quite mad at her for they could not see Aslan even though she points to where He is and at first they did not want to follow. but in the end they followed her. and slowly slowly one by one managed to get a glimpse of Him.
even though we may not be able to see God, but we must have faith that He is there and leading us through the darkness. He shall be our light. He will lead us to where He wants us to go and if our faith in Him is stronger we will be able to see or even experience Him.
